BRYANNA'S VEGAN FEAST OPEN COOKING FORUM
OPEN DISCUSSION GROUP FOR ANYONE INTERESTED IN DELICIOUS VEGAN COOKING!
For recipes, check out my blog!
MY NEW BOOK, COMING OUT IN AUG. 2011-- CLICK ON THE COVER TO PRE-ORDER OR HAVE A LOOK!
NOTE: YOU NOW HAVE TO REGISTER TO POST, AND NOW I AM MANUALLY APPROVING REGISTRATIONS, BECAUSE OF SPAM. IT'S SO ANNOYING TO GET SPAM ON A MESSAGE BOARD AND I TRY TO DELETE IT IMMEDIATLEY, BUT THAT'S THE UNFORTUNATE REALITY. IT'S GETTING MORE FREQUENT. WHEN YOU REGISTER, I APPROVE IT, AND YOU LOG-IN, YOUR LOG-IN NAME WILL SHOW WHEN YOU POST, WITH A LINK TO YOUR PROFILE (SHOULD YOU ENTER ONE).
Welcome! This is a forum for vegan cooks, neophytes and old hands, or would-be vegan cooks, or anyone cooking for vegans! Please feel free to open a thread and see what happens! I will check the threads often and try my best to answer questions and add to the discussions. If it looks like there are a few particular topics of heavy interest, I may start separate forums for those at a later date.
Please be polite and respectful-- I want to keep this an OPEN forum and not have to ask for memberships, block posters, etc.!
Also, be advised that if you want particular information on becoming a vegan or vegetarian, or nutrition resources, or have questions about the social and familial implications of being a vegan, you can ask those questions on my Veg Beginners' Board.
All discussions on vegan cooking, recipes, equipment, techniques, restaurants and restaurant meals, soyfoods, food in general, etc. are welcome! Discussions on low-fat vegan cooking are absolutely welcome, but I would like to limit discussions of the merits (or not!) of competing diet plans! Some discussion on cooking for allergies is fine, but for more complicated allergy discussion, a dedicated forum would probably be more helpful for you. I am not a raw foodist (see why here), so questions about the raw food diet are best addressed to a dedicated forum, of which there are many on the 'Net. Thanks!
TO INSERT A PHOTO INTO YOUR POST: Store your photos on photobucket.com, or any number of other free online photo storage sites. Read the directions for whichever site you choose. Each photo will have three or four lines below it. Copy the one in the line marked "tag" or "html Code"
PS: To post photos that don't take up too much space, downsize them or make them into "thumbnails" before storing on photobucket.com. You can download free software to instantly make thumbnails of your photos at http://www.fookes.com/ezthumbs/index.php I use this for most of the photos I use on this website.
