Bryanna, just wanted to let you know that I made your vegan coulibiac (Russian loaf with soy "salmon", rice & mushrooms, baked in pastry) for a family dinner last weekend. I hadn't tried your soy "salmon" before, but it was alarmingly fishy tasting ;-) The loaf was a big success, I used puff pastry instead of phyllo and served it with the green onion creme sauce and boiled potatoes. Although I rarely ate fish when I was an omni (more than 14 years ago), I think your recipe is really innovative, there are not many vegan seafood recipes.
Thanks for a great recipe. I can only urge all the rest of you guys to try it out.
