Soren wrote to me with a correction for his recipe in the newsletter and I'm at work now, so can't do anyting about it yet. He said that the recipe should say to soak the dough for several hours (I hope that's right!). I will try to correct it on the file, or attach a note to the recipe (which you can do in Adobe). Actually, you can attach a note, too. Go to the place you want it and click the "comments" tab at the left. Then Click "s" (I think!-- I'll check on this when I get home) for the note tool and click where you want it. A box comes down for you to write your note. ---------- "To look like a goddess, eat like a peasant." Karen Andres

Hi Bryanna,
Does he mean soaking the 'neatballs' for several hours after cooking them (soaking them in the curried broth) to absorb the flavor/spices or soaking the dough of the neatballs before they are cooked? Soaking the dough in what liquid?
BTW, Bryanna, with Adobe Reader I can't insert a Comment/note in the file. I think I have to get an Adobe Writer. Is this right? I didn't see the tab you are talking about.

Yes, I guess you're right, you need acrobat writer. But, I'll check. I can put a note in it, but you'd have to download the file again. Anyway, when I figure out how to make the correction, I'll let you know.
I checked Soren's letter and he just says the dough neds to soak for one hour (sorry, I got that wrong before!), so I assume that means before forming the balls. ---------- "To look like a goddess, eat like a peasant." Karen Andres

Adobe Writer is not free, right? Did you buy it? I don't have it, actually, because I don't have a need for it. That's ok, I can download it again at work. :-)
Regarding soaking, oh I see, to let it sit for 1 hour after mixing the dough just like your neatballs or seitan recipe. Got it! :-) I will try this recipe. Man, I am so excited so many recipes to try I want to quit my job. :-)
Bryanna, the coconut sticky rice, if you add sugar and omit the ginger, it becomes a DESSERT. In Thai restaurant, this sweet-style sticky rice is served with fresh sliced mangoes. Pretty yummy! :-) ---------- Debbie
