Okay, I think I'm getting to the point that I could do the next newsletter (which I am madly working on in the midst of trying to figure this out!) in PDF form, and many people seem to like this idea. If I do that, I won't need to remove the old archives from the website.
So, I could just start doing the newsletters in PDF form all the time and leave the old archives online, so that the links keep working. In order for the archives to not be "googled", there could be a password for each newsletter left online, which I could send to you as a list you'd keep both on your computer and near your computer. New subscibers would then only get the past year's passwords, not all of them.
I could slowly start getting the old newsletters into PDF form (with links checked), zip them and put them on discs which I could send to any subscriber who wants them (only charging disc and mailing costs to subscribers), or send the files to subscribers so that they could save them on their computers. I could sell them to newer subscribers or non-subscribers.
I appreciate your input on this.
