Hi, I'm planning to get a bread machine and was hoping to get some info on which one would be good ?

Bryanna, I couldn't find that info on your "Recommended Cookware" section. Did I just miss it ?

No, I haven't got around to it. I actually just have an Oster Expressbake (though I never use the fast option). It is compact and doesn't take up alot of room on the counter, cheap, and easy to use. I have tried 3 different Breadmans plus a Sanyo, and I like this one better. The breadman's pan is no bigger or longer and I like the crust the Oster gets better.

I have a Black and Decker All-in-One Professional Breadmaker. It makes good bread. I hate the fact that to buy a new bread pan costs $80 -- a new machine is around $100 -- which seems to encourage throwing out units when the pan breaks or wears out. It doesn't have some features I'd like, such as a knead-only or a bake-only cycle (it has a two hour knead and rise cycle).

Kourtney, thank you for the info. I never even thought to check on the cost of replacement parts. Too bad it costs so much to replace the bread pan. You're right it's almost better to just get another breadmaker at that price!!
