Hi all,

I made this cake and it was very good. Rich cake!

I didn't use all the peanut butter chunks. I also sliced it thinly. I had 10 ladies attended my party and only cut half of the cake. So I think this cake can serve 20 people.

My husband likes it since he likes the combination of peanut butter and chocolate.

Did you use a different icing, Debbie?

No. I just applied the fluffy vegan icing, your recipe, that I made. It wasn't quite fluffy and dripped but it taste good so no one knows what it is supposed to be. I didn't bring the picture. I will post it when I remember so you know what I meant.

I need to buy a small portable mixer.

I am going to make the stuffed ham soon. I like it that you use the Living Cookbook software for your newsletter. It makes it easier for me to capture and put it into my Living Cookbook software. :-)

I definitely have to try the recipe but right now we're both facing the fact that we've gained 10 pounds during the last months so I don't know if it's such a good idea right now ... Bryanna must be to blame for all those good recipes! (Or perhaps the fact that we've been too inventive about making excuses for not doing any fitness?)

I decided I'm going to bake the apple-caramel buns tomorrow!

Søren,

I have a husband that won't gain weight. I also made it when I had a party so half of the cake was gone to my guests. I only ate 2 thinly sliced and my husband ate most of the other half and gave some to his going-vegan co-worker who absolutely loved it. I can feed my husband a lot of food and sweets and he won't gain at all. Isn't that unfair? He loves Bryanna's recipes and I am able to experiment with them and fed him the results. :-)

Yeah, that cinnamon roll with apples look so good. If I make that I will probably have to bring them to work (that's my other trick of not eating a lot of it).
