Hi all West Coast subscribers,
Have any of you ever been to the Natural Products Expo West? I wonder if it is for wholesaler only or is it for the public too, do you know? The event this year is from March 17-20 in Anaheim Convention Center.
I have never been to it. The ticket is $25 which is a lot. I wonder if it is worth it. I like to know your opinion. Thanks.

Hi Debbie,
My husband and I are going to go to it (probably on the last day). I signed up last month, and it was free then. I did have to show them that I have a business, but I think that you can get in regardless.
I've heard some great things about the expo, which is why I'm going to check it out. Maybe we can meet up there :)

Julie,
I don't have a business. It seems that this conference is for people in business only. That means I have to pay $450 (as a guest) for the events, I just checked the website. So I am not going. :-)
With $450 I can fly to Denman Island and see Bryanna. :-D
If you know any vegetarian/vegan products show in SoCal area please let me know (not so expensive).
Thanks.

Julie,
Let us know if you find new vegan/vegetarian products in the trade show. Anything interesting! Lucky you that you can go. :-)
I know the fact that the veg. restaurants in my area will be packed during this expo. Last year, we went to Au Lac on Saturday night during this expo. There was a waiting list and customers are waiting outside for seats. It was impossible! We ended up at Happy Veggie at Huntington Beach. It was the same, packed by people who went to this expo. I am sure Native Foods will be packed too.

I will certainly post any info about cool vegan foods, equipment, etc... I wish that I had thought about it sooner, because you might have been able to come with us. But you would have had to regester already. I agree that the fee was rediculous. But I think that most people don't pay, they just go with a business.
