Hi Julie and everyone,
Just want to tell you that I really love my new Braun multi function blender/mixer (the immersion blender). I use it every day. I haven't use my stand-up blender since I got this. It is so easy to clean too.
Yes, I used it to make the black bean soup (puree the bean in the soup pot). It was amazing! I only use a few pulses on this machine and the beans were all grounded and mashed. If I ran it too long it would be too smooth for this soup. Very powerful!
By using this immersion blender, I use less bowls so we wash less dishes. Cool!
