Are you really going to veganize those delicious looking meals? Can't wait!! Also am sooo looking forward to moving to North Vancouver, within reach of all those restaurants, not to mention 10,000 Villages. It's not that I don't love Salt Spring, it's just that I need to downsize, and also be nearer to family. For some reason, I am defending my move, but it gets to the point where some homes are just too much work for one person (elderly, too). I will always visit! From March 9th to 13th my sister and I visited Seattle, and had lovely sunny days, a ride up the Space Needle, a lunch included cruise and of course, a visit to Pike Place Market. So many choices, so little time. And I had some very good food, plus a couple of visits to Starbucks!! I agree with Frances, having to remove the food processor from the machine is a pain. I'll probably get a Braun soon, which I have had before. I also want to get a Vita-Mix very soon. It's good to chat!! Cheers, Pat

Hi, Pat! I'm certainly going to try to veganize some of them-- whether I'm successful or not remains to be seen! I wish you all the best in your new home. Sometimes we wish we were closer to the city, but we will stay here as long as we can swing it! You will be near lots of wonderful Persian restaurants! http://www.vanmag.com/Restaurants/Shop_with_a_Chef/Shop_with_a_Chef_Mahtab_Saraf_Kashcool http://www.vancouversun.com/story_print.html?id=1374633&sponsor= Seattle is a fun city and has lots of great restaurants-- Portland, too. Sigh! Not travelling much this year! Good to hear from you, Pat!

It's making me hungry just reading the two articles in those links. I sent the first link to my son, who lives in Lynn Valley, in the hope that we can go there next time I'm in North Van!! I have no doubt that once I'm settled in North Van (again) I'll be a regular customer of Chef Sarab's. Hope your year is going well and that your husband is doing well. Looks like we are actually getting some sunshine for a couple of days!!! Yay! Hugs, Pat
