Bryanna and everyone else, What are your favorite recipes to serve meat-eaters?
My husband (unfortunately) and most of my extended family still eat meat. Some things I make, he really likes, other things I make really miss the mark with him. I want to eventually win him over, and really wow him with vegan food.
Also, I like to serve meals for company. I would love to know what others make that are sure to impress.
I will say that Bryanna's recipes are some of the one's I have had really good luck with, but there are so many to choose from! :)
The one thing everyone consistently likes is veganized sweets, muffins, desserts, etc. At least I'm part of the way there!! :)

I would say that Bryanna's seitan cutlets. Have you tried the 'veal' or 'chicken' cutlets? It is really easy to make. Then, when I make the cutlets for breaded and pan fried dishes, they like them.
For examples, the Scallopini in Nonna's Italian Kitchen cookbook. Most Vegan Italian dishes in this cookbook are well liked by meat-eaters. The crepe dishes are wonderful for meat eaters. Meals and recipes with puff pastry are always popular with guests.
I agree that Bryanna's recipes usually are great to serve meat-eaters because they are so flavorful that they forgot that they ate vegan food. They are not all simple recipes but they are flavorful.
Bryanna's soups are great! There are many soup recipes in the newsletter. I served Bryanna's Black-Eye Peas, 'sausage', and Sweet Potato soup once to my brother-in-law who REFUSED to eat any vegetarian dish. He had a few bowls of them and said that it was very good. This one was easy to make.

I usually do not serve my seitan or tofu dishes to meat-eaters, unless I know that they are very adventurous eaters and nonjudgmental. Since they eat meat, they will be comparing and looking for failure. I usually prepare the best traditional vegetarian ethnic dishes, such as Indian or Middle Eastern vegetarian food, or Italian or Mexican dishes. Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian-- they would all be good, too. They often don’t even think of this as “vegetarian.”
