There was this EXCELLENT vegan Chinese restaurant where I used to live and I always wondered where they got their meat, fish and poultry substitutes or if they made them themselves. I just found this website and it looks like this is the kind of place where they could have gotten it from:

This food looks GREAT, and they deliver! But I was looking at some of the nutrition information and it seems high in fat. I wonder if they fry it up before they package it. I know when I go to the Asian market and look at the packaged pre-cooked tofu they have, which I can see has been fried, I don't believe the nutrition information on the package because it says it's low in fat, but from the looks of it - it doesn't look that way.
I just think it's funny to call any food that is vegan "chicken legs!" It gives me a weird feeling, even though I know it's vegan!
Peace~

Silvia, I sometimes buy products like this from an Asian outlet in Vancouver, for a "treat". They are usually not fried, but I think they add oil to them to provide a rich flavor and mouthfeel.
