Dear Friends,

I have decided not to continue with the newsletter, and that has been a hard decision, because I love doing it, and I love all the wonderful people I have met through it. The Ap/May/June 2008 issue will be the last one.

However, it has been almost 5 years now, and, unfortunately, my husband has just been diagnosed with lupus. So, in addition to the book contracts that I have to meet, and my large extended family, my job, website, blog, and teaching, we have to figure out how to make my husband's health better, and preserve his quality of life.

It was doubly hard to decide how to do this, because you have subscribed at different times of the year. I thought of just stopping subscriptions now and carrying on for another year. But it just won't be possible. I am hoping that you will feel that you have had your money's worth by getting all of the past issues, back to the summer of 2003. However, if you do not feel that that is fair, please write to me and I will try to work something out with you.

I thank you for all your support and inspiration, and I hope you will continue to visit the Vegan Feast Forum, which I will keep open to former subscribers, and my blog.

Thank you all so much for your understanding. I will send you the last issue next week!

All the best, Bryanna

Dear Bryanna,

I am very sorry that you are discontinuing the newsletter, but you need to do what is best for you and your family. I hope your husband gets better/stays healthy (I am not too familiar with lupus). I will say a prayer for him.

You have already gone above and way beyond what (I am sure) most of us ever expected. All of your recipes, guidance, encouragement, support and help have been such a blessing to me, beyond what words can say. I am so grateful to have been a part of this from the beginning and I will continue to keep in touch here and on your blog page.

I cannot tell you how much I have appreciated all you have done. You really are very special to me and I am so grateful for knowing you and having you in my life (even though it is only online). It's amazing when you think that none of this would have ever been possible without the Internet!

Thank you again Bryanna - I love you!

Peace~

Dear Bryanna,

I am so sorry to hear this sad news, first and foremost about your husband, and then the Vegan Feast Newsletter coming to an end - at least for the time being. I have little else to add to what Silvia has already written 'cause she sums my own thoughts up perfectly.

Thank You so profoundly for being such an inspiration, Thank You for all those wonderful recipes and for being such a genuinely lovely person.

I wish you and Brian all the best in these trying times.

Dear Bryanna,

You are so admired and loved by so many people. I am sure everyone wishes you and your husband all the best. Thank you so much for all you have done. Please do not accept the idea that Lupus in incurable. I believe there is no such thing as an incurable disease. You just have to find the answer. Your husband needs you now more than we do but your newsletter will be missed. You are a shining star.

Whenever you should have another book published let me know as I would love to have you on Go Vegan Texas! again to promote it.

Peace & Love,
