Debbie,
following our Sheese debate, I can tell you that I've now tried their mozzarella on a pizza tonight with tomato, basil, onion, red pepper, broccoli and seitan ham, and I wholeheartedly agree with Bryanna that it is very delicious. It doesn't really melt as you will know but it adds, as Bryanna also said, a rich, mild, creamy flavour without overwhelming the other ingredients. We were both very pleased with it so do try it, if you can get the mozzarella in your area.
Bryanna, just a curious question, any news about the seitan e-book?

Oh, Søren! It is still in process-- in truth, I only have to organize the recipes, make sure they read properly, organize photos , etc., make it into a pdf file, but it keeps getting put on the back burner as other projects have deadlines. But I WILL get it done!

Soren,
Thanks so much for telling me this! I have to remember next time when I encounter Sheese. Where did you get it? Did you have to order it online and pay the shipping cost? Or can you get it in local store?
Can you get Soyatoo whipping cream in your area? These European products are terrific!

Bryanna, I'm sure you will get the seitan e-book done eventually but I understand what a big project it must be. By the way, what kind of 'cheese' is on the pizza in the latest blog posting?
Debbie, yes I have tried Soyatoo once and you're right, it holds up very well. I've only tried it once (although I can't remember what I used it for) - I don't crave cakes very often myself - but I'll admit your birthday cake looks gorgeous! Wow!
I bought the Sheese Mozzarella in a supermarket in Sweden last time we went to see our house. We'll be moving in on the 19th and 20th February ... yay! Hmm ... no snow as of yet, I wonder if it's waiting to fall just as we're about to move.
