I have to make a trip to NYC in a couple of weeks....anyone know of good restaurants in Manhattan?

Hi Laureen - You are so lucky to be heading to Manhattan. I love visiting there. There are so many great vegan restaurants! The Red Bamboo near Washington Square is wonderful. I also really like the Candle Cafe on 75th street. The nice thing about NYC is that most places have vegan options. We went to a bagel place one morning and I thought I'd have to have a dry bagel but they had tofu cream cheese with vegetables :o) Have a great time!

Hi Laureen,
If you Google "vegan restaurants" it will give you all these vegan restaurant guides that list vegan restaurants in NY. Lots of good info. Have a great trip!

Try supervegan.com/restaurants.php for their latest list on vegan restaurants in NYC. Joy and Bart at Candle Cafe (either one) will welcome you with open arms.
