hey bryanna, would like to know where to find your tofu omelet recipe. would like to give it a try. i have never eaten a real omelet, but i would like to see what it's all about.
i have made tofu quiche which is awesome. yum, yum. never ate real quiche so i don't know what the difference would be.
never experimented much with food when i was younger. my mom was not a very good cook. fortunately we ate lots of fruit and veggies, beans, and rice, rice, rice. we did eat chicken etc, but in those days there were meatless days and i never minded. i don't think any of us did. my mom made the best beans and rice anywhere.
my dad was an excellent cook, and they put me in the kitchen on sundays to learn to cook when i was fourteen. my grandma was a cook, and never taught my mom the art of cooking. my dad used to say my mom could burn water when he married her. he taught her best he could. she was a great baker. go figure.

The "Stove-Top Tofu Omelet" recipe is in the Oct/Nov 04 Vegan Feast. By the way, read about the Copernic Desktop Seartch free download on the Vegan Feast access page. I use this to find recipes, etc., on my hard drive.
