With my first cold of the year (or last year, for that matter!)-- plane travel often does that to me! I've been trying to catch up all day and just dropped in to say hi to everyone. It was great at the conference (so good to see Brenda and her mom again, and Diane, and meet Lydia! Starla-- where you there?), but I'm going to write about it on my blog (a little at first and then more later as I get photos from people). So keep an eye on my blog for commentary, photos and recipes.

I'm very inspired and itching to try some recipes from the conference, and I have a lots of new ingredients to try, and lots of new friends! However, I have to work like a madwoman on the next newsletter, which I am behind on!

Here are a few photos:

Tired chefs at the airport ready to go home:
Eric Tucker, chef at Millenium in SF; Me; Fran Costigan from NY; and Chef Sualoa Tupolo (Director and Executive Chef of the Vegan Culinary Arts program at Atlantic Union College in South Lancaster, MA.-- AND it turned out we have a mutual good friend in SF!). We were all a little worse for the wear!

Fran and Cathi DeCocco of Bethel, Maine watching a workshop

Cathi and me (Eric Tucker in the background)-- do you like my chef coat?

Chef Kevin Dunn expertly executing Ken Bergeron's recipes-- Ken, unfortunately, could not make it for personal reasons.

Glad you are back, Bryanna, perhaps the lovely warm sea air will help to get rid of your cold. It's warming up, and raining less, hurray!!!

Your photos are interesting, and I would love to hear more about your participation, etc.
Hugs,
Pat

Oh, Bryanna, how I wanted to be there - I cannot tell you! I had a family thingy that I could not get out of. My friend, Colleen, attended again this year and she is going to let me look at the notebook. It looks great, having it in the auditorium this year.

Oh Bryanna, so good to have you back and can't wait to hear about the conference and your experience. I, too, want to be there so bad but Mitch's parents were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary last week so I can't miss that event. We were in Missouri last week.
