Hi Bryanna,
Just tonight I made this soup for the first time from your Jan 18 blog entry. Wonderful!! So thick and creamy, hard to believe there's not a drop of fat in it!! I made the soup, then went out for a hike in the woods (25 degrees F .... brr!!) and then returned to a big bowl of this soup!!

One note, you mentioned garlic in the directions but not the list of ingredients. I used 4 cloves ... probably more than one would call for, but I steam-stirred them WHOLE with the onions, and then still left them whole when adding them to the pot with everything else, and then just pureed them with everything else at the end. I've found this method makes the garlic flavor very "soft" and subdued as compared to mincing the garlic at the beginning and then sauteeing. And you can use alot more!!
