Homemade Tofu question

Hi, I made some tofu using the SoyQuick soymilk maker. I followed the directions, but the tofu ended up being very soft & shapeless - not like silken tofu. I made 2 batches. First batch broke easily when removed from the mold ( I let it set for about 4 hours). 2nd batch held its shape a little better, but still not firm enough. I had a can of beans on the top of the mold to help it drain the liquid. Should I use something heavier ? Or let it set longer ? etc ?

Thanks!

Hi, Val! Did you use Brenda's instructions on this page:
http://www.bryannaclarkgrogan.com/page/page/3009045.htm

She is very explicit about weights and times.

Thanks Bryanna! I didn't notice that page. Will use those instructions the next time I make tofu.
