psyillum husk or seed?

Have any of you used psyllium husks or seeds to thickien foods? I have heard it as good health benifits as well. Just curious what you all think of it?

I've used it. It can be an egg replacer; a thickener; used as a "colon cleanse"; or added to foods for people who need more fiber. It's what "Metamucil" is :) .. or any fiber/cleanse product, really; the main ingredient is always psyllium.
