I made this from her blog: http://veganfeastkitchen.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_veganfeastkitchen_archive.html

and it is addicting...very good.

I also made Mu Shu Tofu from her Chinese cookbook. It is goood. I blogged it at: http://spiceislandvegan.blogspot.com/

You know, I'm sorry to keep harping on this, but you have to do a vegan Asian cookbook! You can just collect all your blog entries, plus some of the ones you've done for Vegan Feast, and your "fish" recipes, etc., and you'll have a book!

I totally agree with Bryanna!! You should write a cookbook Debbie!

I also love Bryanna's mock duck. I'll have to try the mu shu this weekend. I bought a really large stainless steal steamer from the Asian market, and have made quite a few of Bryanna's Chinese recipes.

Thanks! But I use some of your recipes, Bryanna, so they are not all my original recipes. I also don't have time to do a cookbook.

Bryanna,

BTW, I have an idea for Thanksgiving 'Turkey'. Have you tried to smoke your seitan? I thought the 'Hickory Smoke' Tofurky deli slices are very good.

I wonder if I can make this at home. I have been buying it during summer since it is too hot to make a turkey seitan loaf. I have it with vegenaise, avocado, store-bought cranberry sauce, lettuce and tomatoes in a sandwich. I also roll it in a sundried tomato and basil flour tortilla as a wrap or tortilla rolled up sandwich. I wonder if you are interested in smoking your seitan. I thought I just throw this idea to you. :-) I didn't mean to rush you for the next newsletter.

Another idea, the 'mock duck' can be used in a French cuisine also. It doesn't have to be Chinese style. I just can't think of 'what' to use it as.

Great ideas, Debbie! I'll have to get my smoker out. I also have an idea for a traditional Peruvian stuffed "turkey".
