Hi, Everyone!
It was super hot last week here, so I was guzzling lemonade like crazy. I made all types of different ones: Cranberry lemonade, watermelon lemonade, Limeade, Blood Orangeade, Minty Limeade, etc.
I had a nice small fennel bulb and decided to use it too! It came out delicious. One time, I juiced the fennel, another time I just blended and strained it -- both ways worked. Another time, I took the long stalks that protrude from the bulb, bruised them, and used them as stirring sticks, which also added their flavor to the lemon/limeade. Looked really pretty, too, with the delicate fronds on top :D. This also worked great with stalks of lemongrass, which added another lemony dimension to an otherwise ordinary lemonade :D!
