Julie!! I thought your idea of sharing pantry pictures WONDERFUL. I think we'll all get a hoot from looking at each others'!!
OK ... I'll go first. Below are un-retouched pictures of mine. Despite my inner urges, I didn't straighten anything up first!! I have one of those vaccuum sealers, and use that to store alot of my dried goods.

Nice pantry Brenda. I have a tour of my kitchen and the bakehouse link on the sidebar of my blog.
I like your use of the built in shelving. I saw some lik ethat at a hardware store and coonsidered it to help me organize a closet space.
My blog: http://thebakehouse.blogspot.com links to my kitchen and the bakehouse tour are there. I came back later here to post pictures of my "pantry". I kind of have stuff everywhere, so here are all the places I store my food goods.

Note - those are all my Bryanna books on the microwave stand shelf... I did not put those there for the purposes of this picture. I actually cringed as I took these pictures, thinking I can't believe I'm doing this without straightening things up.

Okay, I'll be brave and post some photos of my messy, sagging pantry shelves!

Dori, I enjoyed your "tour" on your blog page ... I check your blog every couple days and enjoy your articles, but had never pursued any of your other links. You have quite the operation there!! Then the pictures you added here REALLY give a feel for the level of your bakehouse!!
Bryanna, thanks for adding in yours!! I'm enjoying picturing your creative mind at work in your kitchen!!
OK ... Julie, you're next ..... pictures please!!!
PS ... Bryanna and Dori, I couldn't get larger pictures of your thumbnails. I just get taken to photobucket's main page. I even registered with them, and still won't get the larger versions.

I will hopefully post them by tonight. I have to borrow my son's camera (I'm not sure where mine is). I was cracking up because we all seem to have a similar way of storing our stuff. I'm not very organized, but my husband is, so he's always trying to help me come up with solutions. This is so much fun to see everyone's pantry. Creative minds definitely think alike!

Julie, I was thinking the same thing!! For some reason, I sort of figured everyone elses' pantries were perfectly sorted, neatly arranged, and picture perfect. This just shows how, as you said, creative minds work!!
One thing I HAVE thought (but have yet to do anything about) is that it would be helpful to have my spices alphabetized. I have them in two separate cupboards, and do sometimes spend longer than I need to searching for a specific spice or herb.

Okay, here's a couple pictures of my cabinets. I thought that I would spare everyone the photos of my garage :-)

Sorry the photos are so big. I tried to make them smaller but it wouldn't work.

Brenda, all my pictures were turned into thumbprints before I put them on photolink. I deleted the orginal size photo right after turning it into a thumprint because pictures take up alot of space on my computor. ---------- "To cook is to create. Ha! You all are more brave than I am.
On a side note has anyone noticed that they don't get critters where they store their seaweeds? Maybe it's just my imagination, but wherever there is seaweed -- even well sealed, though not in glass; they're in doubled plastic bags -- there are no bugs!

Julie ... you have a WONDERFULLY large storage space!!
Bryanna/Dori ... I use Imageshack to host pictures, and with them, you upload the full size image to their server. They then provide the code to insert thumbprints on websites (you just copy and paste). So thumbprints show up, but users can click on the thumbprint for a full size image. And since they're hosting it, you can delete the file from you computer. I use this alot for eBay listings ... I put the thumbnails in my listing, and users can click on them to get the full size one. And that way, I don't have to pay eBay's extra fees to include extra photos thru their server.
