This is WONDERFUL!! I actually sat here and read every word!! It answered alot of the knife sharpening questions I had!! What I was pleased to learn was how well my Dad taught me to sharpen knives!! I have an Arkansas stone that he used at home to keep my Mom's knives sharp; he gave it to me and I'm still using it. The technique described in the link is just how he taught me (including using the stone DRY!!)
