I know this topic was discussed a while back, but with garage sales starting up, I'm going to be looking for clay cookers and want to be sure I look for the right size.
Bryanna (or others who make the roasts in clay), do you use a 2 1/2 quart clay cooker for one recipe of your seitan? This makes one large roast, instead of two that you make in bread pans, is that correct?
I'm talking about the "ham" and the "turkey" roasts recipes. Thanks.

Starla,
I have 2 cookers. The 1-1/2 qt. is enough for 1 recipe and the 3 qt. is enough for 1 1/2 to 2 recipes of seitan roasts. I sometimes use both to make a lot of seitan roasts in one day and freeze them.
There are measurements/dimensions in that website above.

Debbie, thanks for the information! I went to some garage sales already this week-end. No clay cooker yet.
