I EMAILED THE NEW VEGAN FEAST AS A PDF FILE

Hi, all!   I wanted you to get the holiday recipes in time for the holidays, so I was going to give you a “preview” of those recipes and post the whole file later. However, my DH gave me a little talking-to and said, “You have enough for a newsletter! You said you were going to make it shorter!”. So, because it is getting so close to Easter, and Passover has already begun, I decided to get this newsletter out as quickly as possible, even if it is a bit shorter than usual.  (As you might know alreafdy, I have been delayed by my trip to the  Vegetarian Awakening Conference in Michigan, and the ongoing book project I'm doing with Dr. Neal Barnard.)

Consequently, I am sending you the actual PDF file for this issue, in a zipped (compressed) file. It is a little shorter than usual, but then, I DID say I was going to cut back!

Soon, I will get the new password page set up on my website and send you the new password, but, for now, it's the same. Setting up the new page takes time, and I wanted you to have the file to look at NOW.

So, enjoy, stand by for further emails, and have a great Holiday!

All the best, Bryanna

Ooh, Bryanna!

The tortillas! That is fabulous; I've tried to make homemade corn torts taste better, but never thought of hominy! Thank you, thank you!

And thanks for the low-fat felafels!! I too have found the low-fat versions too dry to be worth it. I've tried that mix before, and it is good; but fried, it's not worth the oil!

I got it, savored it for a whole 5 minutes before I ran to the kitchen to try out the stuffed mushrooms. An hour later and we loved them... yes, for breakfast!!! The mexican Easter, I will try this sometime for my "learning the spanish language quickly" daughter... this will be fun! Great job, thanks for your work Bryanna.

P.S. I don't think of your trip to the conference and your book project as things that DELAY the newsletter... I think of them as a BONUS of being a subscriber to have an "insider connection" to these events.

Hi Bryanna - welcome back. Newsletter received, read and already printed. Can't wait to try the matzoh balls in broth. Don't forget - you have to breathe!

Everything looks wonderful. Thank you.
Cheers, Pat

Thanks Bryanna! I really liked getting it via email. It was like getting a nice present! It feels really personal that way. :) I to am looking forward to trying the tortillas!

Has anyone tried using the VillaWare Grand Wrap Tortilla and Flatbread Maker? I got one for Christmas. I tried making regular flour tortillas with them but they cracked easily.

I was thinking I could use the maker to press the corn tortillas without turning on the unit. Then when I am ready to cook them, turn on the unit and do it like instructed in the newsletter.

Anyone else have experience with this appliance?

Smiles and Thanks,
Rochelle
