Check it out here:
http://veganfeastkitchen.blogspot.com/ (there's a link in the menu to your left)

I'll see how it goes. I'm getting addicted to blogs and it will be sort of a journal.

Hi Bryanna,

I think it is great. I am still new at blogging. I somehow could not figure out how to post to your blog. You may see my comments several times or none at all. LOL! I don't know what I am doing yet, I guess.

My blog name is Spice Island Vegan.

Hey, you may be crazy, but aren't we all?! I LOVE your blog, Bryanna. You're a wonderful writer. What a treat for us all! Now I'll have to spend even more time than I already do meandering about your site . . . Thanks for such generous sharing of both your culinary and literary gifts! Catherine

Thanks, everyone! I haven't decided how often to blog...it may be random. Debbie, right now the comments don't show immediately, as I am moderating them. But I may change that. Thanks for writing!

Bryanna,

Oh I see. You can delete my comments then. I was wondering why my comments didn't show up and thought that I did something wrong and do not know how to post.

This blogging is interesting. I might learn it for fun.

I wouldn't delete your comments, debbie1 they are there now. They let you do that because, unfortunately, you get some really hateful ones sometimes. The Vegan Lunch Box lady, Jennifer, even got threats against her family! I got one the first day I posted saying "eat meat you vegan b*st*rd"!! So, this way, I see them before they ever get published and can eliminate them before anyone (but me) can be offended. It's weird-- I have never had anything hateful like that from my website or board.

Oh my God! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! Geez, how people can be so mean? Well, I think that's the benefit of this forum. It is more private and we know each other. Out there in the open, although, it sounds fun but there is a disadvantage of being open in the public. Maybe those are the jealous food bloggers who didn't win the votes as the best food blog...ha ha... Can't a vegan have a success once a while? Geez!

I look forward to reading your blog. I couldn't reach it through your home page, got one of those "Can't be found" pages but I'll try again, today I'll go from this forum. Thanks for sharing even more of your thoughts and ideas.
BTW, I followed your recommendation and ordered a Bosch last Friday and rec'd it Tuesday (from Victoria). I can't decide what to make first!! I got the one with a blender and also got a food processor. I'll let you know my progress!
Cheers, Pat

patlanz, I've been making the bread from Nonna's Italian Kitchen (a double-batch each time) in my Bosch -- I suggest trying that. It's a great recipe.

I've never heard of a blog before.

I love the vegan lunch box blog... I've been sitting at the computor far longer than I planned this week reading this instead of doing some of the schoolwork I needed to do. Well, that and creating my own blog... I love it!

See my blog at http://www.thebakehouse.blogspot.com
How Fun!

Dori,

Your blogs are great! I love it.

Linda,

I think Bryanna and Dori might monitor the comments. Yours may not be deleted and will appear later. Mean people sent nasty comments so they have to be monitored.

I don't monitor posts, but I think you have to be a rgistered user on blogspot.com to make a post. I noticed it says anonymous posts are not allowed. I had to sign on as a registered user to be able to leave a message on a someone else's blog.

No, you can choose to accept messages from anyone, and you can leave messages if you aren't a memeber, too-- I chose to moderate my messages, but accept from anyone, and I have left lots of messages before I was a "blogger". You just have to click "other".

Bryanna,
I am having a hard time reading your blog because it is black print on a brown background. Is that the way it is supposed to be, or is it just my computer. Thanks for the help.

Linda20-- on my computer, and the ones at work, the background is very light brown-- like old parchment paper, and the black writing shows up well. It was one of the templates provided by blogger.com-- I didn't do anything to the colors. Nobody else has complained of not being able to read it, which makes me think that it may be your computer. Maybe you could change the settings on your computer for the colors, or something? Do you have a friend who knows about this stuff?

The other Linda-- thanks for your comments! They got deleted along with the original corned beef post, which I should have left there, I guess-- I wanted to work on that recipe and I impulsively deleted it! Sorry!

Bryanna,

I told my 25 year old grand daughter, a lifelong vegetarian, about the comment on your blog - the "eat meat you vegan b*st*rd" comment. She said, "That's funny." "Funny?" I asked incredulously. Denise said, "Yes, I have had to put up with these kind of people all my life - they are just showing their ignorance so I laugh at them." "Oh!" I replied, "I get it. Thanks for helping to change my perspective. You are right - it is funny. Better to laugh than to get upset, which changes nothing." Just wanted to share this with you, Bryanna. Love your blog!!!

Yeah, after my initial shock I just deleted it and thought, "you sad fool-- get a life". I actually felt a bit sorry for him. He actually has a blog devoted to getting vegans to eat meat. That kind of says it all about him!

Linda20, interestingly, one of the computers where I work displays Bryanna's blog in this fashion ... just as you described (I took it as an omen that I shouldn't be reading blogs at work!!)
