This is the continuation of the discussion about the unusual coffee. If you search for Kopi Luwak in the internet, you will find all kind of information about it and where to buy it. Kopi = coffee and Luwak = the name of the animal. The cost is $300 a pound. I don't think even Starbucks can afford it. :-)

I saw this coffee once at a gourmet market in Vancouver. It sounds absolutely disgusting. Yuck! It doesn't matter to me how good the coffee might taste. And, at $300 a pound, that could buy a lot of appliances :-)

Wow, in Vancouver! I don't even realize that this coffee made it to North America. Unbelievable! I agree that it is gross. That's another reason my family never had it. My family eats other undesirable things when we grew up but I guess we have a limit. :-) I am amazed that people still buys it.
