Bryanna,

Is your dulce de leche recipe replacing sweet condensed milk? I was thinking that I can make the Mexican Arroz Con Leche with it.

What do you think?

No, I have a recipe for that-- my Sweetened Condensed Soymilk. This is like sweetened condensed milk that has been cooked for hours to carmelize it.

Hi Bryanna,

Thanks for the answer. Is the sweet condensed milk recipe in the newsletter? I haven't seen it or maybe I forgot.

Debbie, the sweetened condensed milk recipe is here: http://www.bryannaclarkgrogan.com/page/page/1466680.htm#february21 (scroll up). I keep meaning to try making that horribly unhealthy dessert where you make a graham cracker crust, top it with chocolate chips and nuts, and then pour a can of sweetened condensed milk on it before baking it, using Bryanna's sweetened condensed milk recipe.

Bryanna's sweetened condensed milk is *awesome*! Shocking, I know ;P

Kourtney, I've made those! Lol! They are yummy. I've seen them referred to by different names, but I first heard them called, "Dolly Bars"; so that's what I call 'em. AND Bryanna's sweetened condensed milk works great in that recipe! I made them one year at Christmas and my Mom thought I made them "regular" :) Couldn't tell the difference! If anything, they were better because I used better ingredients like good vegan chocolate, fresh coconut, organic walnuts/pecans, etc.
Mmmm...you know, I think I'll make them this year!

Aha! It was in the weekly recipe. No wonder my Copernic indexing software didn't find it. And....actually, I have that Soyfood Cooking cook book. LOL! Thanks for pointing it out to me, Kourtney! I tell you, I think we all suffer from Bryanna recipes overload. LOL! The symptom is when you start thinking 'I thought I saw it before but where? Am I dreaming of it?'

Someone at work makes Arroz Con Leche and looks good but it is not vegan. I can easily veganize it if I have the recipe of vegan sweet condensed milk. Then, I can control the sweetness too.

Thanks again!
