Olive Oil Bread Question????

Bryanna or anyone

I would like to make the Olive Oil Bread. However I do not have a bread machine. I assume I can bake it in the oven but at what temp and time do you suggest? Also can the sponge stay in the fridge for a day (aprox. 24 hrs)?

I would like to start this tonight if possible

I think the sponge can stay in fridge for that long. I also think that you can make it without the bread machine.

Should I let it rise for an hour then punch it down and let it do a second rise in the pan?

Hi Rochelle,

Do you have Bryanna's Nonna's Italian Kitchen cookbook? Her instructions of making bread with Italian Biga in that book should be the same as making this bread. I forgot how it is in this cookbook. I am at work and don't have the book with me. But she has several recipes with biga in it and it is not ABM instructions.
