Busy weekend! Boy, my house smells yummy!

Here is the pot of BRYANNA'S BLACKEYED PEA CHILI with SMOKED TOFU:

And here is a serving of BBPC, topped with shredded
BRYANNA'S VEGAN CHEDDAR with slices of BRYANNA'S ALBERTA WHEATBERRY BREAD. On the right is the block of cheddar:

Thanks for an AWEsome dinner, Bryanna; everyone loved it!

Oh, I made the cheddar with Kojel, according to the recipe directions -- 1 tsp. -- and it came too soft. It was like the Guyere...I guess it needs more. It still shredded and sliced, though, as in my pic; and it was still yummy!

Hi Linda,

I tried the black-eyed pea chili as the very first recipe of the latest newsletter, it is indeed a yummy stew! Tonight I'm gonna try the unusual three sisters pizza with squash and roasted veggies, I'm gonna make a batch of gruyère this afternoon!

PS! Your pics look very good!

Let us know how the pizza comes out! I love 3-Sisters recipes.

Which jel are you going to use for the gruyere?

This newsletter has me in cooking/baking mode!
Post pictures, if you can! I love seeing the dishes, and I'll be posting my results too.

I made the blackeyed pea chili this weekend, too. It was great! I served it with cornbread.

Kourtney, did you use store-bought smoked tofu?

Yes. Did you?

Edit: Oh, I see from your other post you haven't been able to find it. It's a bit pricy here ($5 for 12 ounces) but I just love the stuff and a health food store near me always has it.

There is no smoked tofu anywhere in Southern California. Don't know why? It seems that we have all kind of tofu but that one. Therefore, the stove top smoker appliance is really appealing to me. I used my wok last time and it worked too for the tea smoked tofu.
