Canadian Thanksgiving...

Is on Oct. 10th. I was hoping to get the newsletter out by then, but it's not going to happen. I have to give myself another week. This week I have been spending most of my time preparing for two workshops that I'm doing this weekend in Vancouver at EarthSave's Taste of Health (http://www.tasteofhealth.com/)

I will be gone from Fri to Sunday, then I actually have to prepare for Thanksgiving, while I work on the newsletter, and go to work. I was really stressing about it. So, I hope my fellow Canadians will forgive me this time (I hope to do better next year!) and use the past Thanksgiving issues for ideas.

Since this new (quarterly)issue will encompass both Thanksgiving and Christmas, along with Hanukkah, Kwaanza, etc., Canadians will be able to use the new dishes for these other holidays, I hope!

No big deal! I was thinking of making the stuffed 'pork' roast for Thanksgiving anyway. With involved dishes like that, I tend to let them simmer (mentally, I mean) for a while before I actually make them so I would have been unlikely to make a recipe that just came out, anyway.
