I tried this recipe from the new newsletter and it was AWESOME! This sauce is tangy, sweet, and savory. We love it. I use the sauce to marinade Quick Version Seitan "Pork" Cutlets and then BBQ them on the outside grill. We ate the grilled cutlets inside the Jiffy Hamburger Buns from the new newsletter. YUMMY!

Bryanna, I love your Jiffy Hamburger Buns. It is easy to make and they are soft and tasty.

Thanks for AWESOME newsletter and the index!

I have to agree, Debbie, it is a wonderful BBQ sauce! I made it entirely because of Bryanna's enthusiasm (and the funny story behind it). I normally don't like mustard so it was a bit of a chance for me to take but it was really delicious. I didn't make "pork" chops but used slices of the left-over tenderloin for hot sandwiches yesterday, smothered in the sauce. It was excellent. My sauce was a bit runny, though, so I added some corn starch to thicken.

I am GLAD you like it, Soren. It is runny but it is good as a marinade sauce. My husband also don't like it as a condiment but he loves the seitan cutlets that I soaked in it and bbqued. He didn't use it as a condiment, I did. I agree as a condiment it needs a bit thicker.

It actually shouldn't be too "gloppy", but you can cook it down a little more, if you like. perhaps it depends on the mustard you use.
