I started to use slow cooker now since I work long hours. Have you thought about creating a vegan slow cooker cookbook?

Not Bryanna .... and I hope she doesn't mind .... but if you are interested in a vegan crockpot cookbook, you should take a look at Fresh From The Vegetarian Slow Cooker by Robin Robertson. It is an excellent book and the recipes are vegan.

Are the recipes good? I saw the reviews in Amazon that seems that the recipes are not tested well. I don't have a cookbook written by this chef. I don't like to buy a cookbook and then the recipes won't turn out good.
Did you try a lot her recipes?

I have this book, but it hasn't inspired me much. Debbie-- can you get it from the library first to have a look at it before you buy? That's what I try to do.
I don't use my slow-cooker enough to do a book, really.

Debbie ... I really like this book and everything I've made so far has been delicious: chili w/ cornmeal dumplings, sloppy lentils, lasagne, pot pie, a couple of soups, bread pudding, and pudding cake.
I like fairly simple foods. I'm not a very adventurous cook and if it weren't for my children, I think I would just eat the same few things over and over. LOL If you like more exotic recipes, you might find this book kind of ordinary, but it suits me well!

Thanks Shona! I will give it a try. I am looking for shortcuts these days. I like to cook adventorous meals but just don't have time.
I found out that cooking with my slow cooker helped me tremendously. I have to work 9 hours a day now (with lunch is 10 hours). I arrive home later than I used to. After cooking, eating, cleaning up, and relaxing for about 1 hour, it is time to go to bed. I try to get in 1/2 hour exercise in, too. I prepare and cut up veggies for the crockpot to cook all day at night before I go to bed. I use my crockpot twice a week since we eat the left over on the days that I don't cook.
It is so nice to arrive home and dinner is ready in the crockpot. I made Bryanna's Buddha's Eight Treasures from Authentic Chinese cookbook, some of her soups, and the Italian pot roast. The pot roast turned out great and it was easy to make. Except the potatoes were still firm. Linda said hers were overcooked. There is a difference between her pot and mine, I think.
